The League of Humane Voters sent out this email recently, which is mostly relevant (in terms of action to be taken) to people in the Cleveland, Ohio area:
Some members of the Democratic party, egged on by business interests, are upset with Dennis Kucinich’s courageous stance advocating the re-establishment of democracy in the US.
As we all know, Dennis was the only member of Congress who spoke out against the passage of AETA (the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act) which goes a long way to making all of us terrorists.
These party hacks decided to attempt to install a more subservient office-holder in Dennis’s Congressional seat.
As animal rights advocates and social justice advocates we owe Dennis plenty!!!
Now is our chance to do help Dennis stay in office and to send a clear message to the party hacks that it is the people who decide who represents them in Congress.
Here is how you can help:
1) If you are a registered Democratic Party voter in Ohio’s 10th Congressional district (Greater Cleveland) you can vote for Dennis in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday March 4th. Please vote in this important primary for Dennis. Talk to your friends and neighbors and urge them to do likewise.
2) If you have friends or relatives in Cleveland who are registered Democrats urge them to vote for Dennis in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday March 4th.
3) From anywhere in the world you can send contributions to support Dennis’s campaign by going to http://www.kucinich.us/contribute.htm

Yeah he is our lone champion in the house. Forgetting that he is vegan he stands for those who do not bow to fear mongering from both sides in DC.
Very true. They didn’t mention it in the letter, but he’s also very strongly anti-war, and has been one of the few consistent voices for peace since the wars started.
